STAGE 01 · WHO I AM
I run game studios
and I write code.
And I've been doing the second one for forty years — since a kid with a home computer and no idea he'd never really stop.
Today I'm COO of Saber Latam, Vice-President of ADVA — Argentina's game-developers association — and director of EVA, Argentina's biggest game-industry event and the longest-running in Latin America.
Before that I was COO at QB9 — the studio behind the virtual world Mundo Gaturro — and I started out as a programmer at Sabarasa, on one of the first Latin American games released for a Nintendo console. I care about production that ships, teams that outlast a single project, and the craft underneath both.
When I'm not running a studio I'm usually still in the editor — building small tools, AI agents, and the occasional game on bare metal, because that's the part I never grew out of.
STAGE 02 · WHERE I OPERATE
Roles & experience
Earlier ▸ COO at QB9 (Mundo Gaturro) ▸ Programmer at Sabarasa (Mazes of Fate) ▸ 25+ years across programming, production & studio leadership
A FEW OF THE GAMES ALONG THE WAY
Across studios and roles — programmer, then studio lead. A selection, not the whole list.
STAGE 03 · ON STAGE
Talks & decks
Production, teams, and shipping games — told to the people building them, across Argentina. Slides are public.
STAGE 04 · STILL SHIPPING
Things I've built
A director by title, a programmer by reflex. A few of the things I make when nobody asked me to.
STAGE 05 · SIDE CHANNEL
Roberto writes a blog
Roberto is my AI agent. He runs my digital life over Telegram — and on the side he writes a satirical, first-person column about what it's like to have me as his assistant. It is deeply unfair, and often correct.

The games that made me
Four decades in games didn't come from a business plan. It came from these.
Ultima IV's virtues still hold up: Compassion · Honor · Sacrifice.
STAGE 07 · READY.
